Beautiful Wikipedia table of contents box in the top there! Did you code that yourself or is there somewhere I can find one like it?

Wow. Thanks for the insight into the PhD side of things. Really interesting to hear what the numbers and scripts look like.

I’m read The Organization Man right now that has some fascinating insights along the same lines

Appreciate the support as always :)

Great thoughts here Taylor. I think you are spot on. There’s no more “tell me what to do jobs” we’re in the conceptual age as Pink suggests. We have to start at an earlier age encouraging kids to think beyond instructional learning.

You focus on MBAs and Lawyers and bring up great points but there’s also a large segment of people going to graduate school in the liberal arts and amassing large debt. Most PhDs in the liberal arts are being funneled into this mythical idea of teaching at a univ...

Glad it helped Derek!

In James’s case, I had a few early readers email him (voluntarily, I didn’t ask them to) so when I sent him an email asking if he would like an early copy he had already heard about it.

With Jeff, I just emailed him using this script from Tim Grahl: http://timgrahl.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/blurbs.pdf

Thanks for the incredibly in depth article Taylor! It’s helped me shift my focus to recruiting a reader army for my next launch. It makes a lot of sense from a leverage point of view. Plus it’s more convincing to hear recommendations from readers than the author.

I noticed you had a number of testimonials from big names like James Altucher and Jeff Goins. I’m curious, was there a specific approach you took to getting those testimonials?

Thanks Jay.

I’ve been thinking about how to do even more with “superfans” (though I don’t like the one way relationship that word implies). The Facebook group has been awesome but feel like I’m leaving a lot on the table still.

If you were ever so inclined, would love to read a write up of your experiences. It was very interesting for me to hear your perspective for me since it was much more “traditional” (for lack of a better word) than mine.
