Jennifer Rodewald is passionate about the Word of God and the powerful vehicle of story. Four kids and her own personal superman make her home in southwestern Nebraska delightfully chaotic.

Born in Colorado, she experienced both the seclusion of rugged mountain living and the busy streets of a Denver suburb during her growing up years. Somewhere in the middle of college, she married a Husker and found her way back to the quiet lifestyle of a rural area, which suits just fine.

Blessed with a robust curiosity, Jen loves to research. Whether she’s investigating the history of a given area, the biography of a Christian icon, or how nature declares the glory of God, her daily goal is to learn something new. Aiming to live with boundless enthusiasm

Thank you for connecting with me. Yes, it is YA... and because it's dystopian there is some darkness in it. I have a 12 year old, a 14 year old, and a 16 year old, and all three have read the trilogy and liked them. There is nothing graphic in the darker scenes, but the presence of evil is clearly known (not glorified in anyway). If your 14 year old had read The Hunger Games, Divergent, or any of the other popular dystopians on the market, then I think they'd get into The Uncloaked. (less)

I was thinking…

The sermon series at our church has been themed on happiness. This week, in a dry tone, the pastor asked us to open to the last chapter, the last verse in the book of Cinderella… where we find that “they all lived happily ever after.” Then, he directed us to the last verse of the last chapter of Sleeping Beauty, where he assured us again that we’d find, “and they all lived happil...

That ending was beautiful. Truly, I don't think it could have ended any better despite my unsureness of me getting there.
