Jennifer was born and raised on Long Island, in New York. She relocated to South Carolina in 2002, where she met the love of her life. They got married and live their happily ever after just outside of Charleston with their fur-kids: a spoiled rat terrier and a cat who think she’s an MMA fighter. When she’s not reading or writing, she works as a behavioral therapist, and is an evening graduate student, pursuing a degree in clinical counseling. She enjoys amateur photography, travelling, and music…it’s a bonus when she can combine all three. She independently published her debut novel, Our Moon (JACT 1), in June 2015.

I know not everyone is going to like what I put out there, but for those who do, it makes me happy that I could make them happy.(less)

I have been experiencing that a little bit with my Our Moon spin-off, so I just set it aside and worked on the story that was making more noise in my head. I've got several ideas for novels in my head, so if I get stumped, I'll just play around with another one of those ideas. I don't have any deadlines and I don't plan to make any promises for releases or anything like that, so I feel like I have the flexibility to do that and take my time. But if it's something minor, I might just look back at what inspired me in the first place and see if that gives me a little nudge to push passed it. The bottom line is that I want to produce good stuff for the readers, and I feel my work suffers if I try to put something together that isn't quite ready yet.(less)
