Hi Alan

Without giving too much away, Gorilla is taking some time out to recover while I work on my new book The Fisherman. Once thats up and running, I'll be turning my attentions to the last full Gorilla book; Berlin Re-Load - which will be set in Gorilla Grant's past and future.

Thanks again for all your support

Hi Alan

In answer to your question - absolutely!! A good character is hard to come by, so keeping them alive (giving them a bit more shelf life) is a good thing I think. And I've found that a good character is not the same thing as liking the character as a person. I'm thinking here of Trench from AGFA. Now Trench is a two faced, devious little shit with blood on his hands. And by rights he should have been slotted in the the first book....but he just was so bad that he deserved another shot so I brought him back for Sentinel Five. And it worked...he was the perfect foil for Gorilla in that book.

Many thanks for the question

I received this book as a gift and set aside my usual fair of reading (crime/thriller) to look it over this weekend. I’m glad I did.

What a wonderful treasure of a book. It is small in scale but big in heart. Magic, elemental forces, spirits and
