Happy birthday to Marvel legend Sal Buscema! Here’s a sketch of Spider-Girl herself, Mayday Parker, that Sal did for me at a Pittsburgh comic con many moons ago. Sal was a mighty member of the Spider-Girl crew. Back in the ‘80s when he was paired with writer J.M. DeMatteis, Sal was one half of one of the all-time greatest Spider-Man creative teams. When Harry Osborne died, I wept.
