My dad, a Dubliner, was illegitimate and didn't know who his father was.

Suddenly I realised that he was the son of William Butler Yeats and started to find out about my grandmother, who was murdered when he was four.

The 150th anniversary of W B Yeats's birth

Today I'm giving tribute to my grandfather William Butler Yeats who was born 150 years ago.

The volume, depth and lucidity of his poetry make him the greatest poet of the twentieth century, and one of the greatest poets in the world.

I'm proud to be associated with him.

But always nice to read more about anne lister had to laugh about some of the text on page 4 and page 6. Wont spoil for those who are stil reading.
