Andrew Males lives in Stevenage, south-east England with his supportive wife and a daughter who he reads to every night, usually something with dragons, dinosaurs or underpants.

26 Miles to the Moon is Andrew’s first book, and was inspired from running two gruelling New York City Marathons. Prior to this, Andrew dabbled with short stories in horror and sci-fi before settling on trying to make people laugh, even if he uses a cheap penis gag or two.

You can often find him reading or inventing stories on his commute to London, where he pretends to work as a business analyst while dreaming of how to make teleportation and time travel a reality.

Andrew hopes to go into space one day, if only to see how many Air Miles that would get him.

I've just started writing my second novel - not a sequel to 26 Miles to the Moon, but another fast-paced comedy. It's early days so I won't reveal much more, but I'm very excited about the story and to finally get it started. Maybe I'll do a sequel to 26 Miles next if I get a good plot and the demand is there!(less)
