Kylie was born in Melbourne, Victoria in June 1983 and moved to Western Australia with her mother when she was 16 months old. Due to learning difficulties, Kylie struggled to learn how to read and write. Thanks to her mothers determination and dedication, Kylie learnt the magic of the written word and fell in love with storytelling and reading.

At the age of six Kylie discovered the art of poetry and had her first poem 'Platypus' published in the state newspaper. She also began writing short stories and started an 'ideas' journal which she still maintains today.

Over the years Kylie has faced many health challenges, including sleep deprivation photosensitive epilepsy, combined with insomnia, rheumatoid arthritis, malformed kidneys and vis

If writing is your passion, then do it and don't let anyone sway your enthusiasm and will to achieve. People will try to knock you down and tell you that your writing is no good, or that you don't have anything worthy of reading, or like to remind you that most writers are broke and make no money. Don't listen to them. Do what you love. If you love your job you will never 'work' a day in your life.
If, like me, you don't function as a human being unless you're writing, then write to your hearts content.

I am hoping that the series will help to quash the negative stigma that tends to surround anything to do with foster children. These children are innocent pawns in an adults game and should not continually be viewed as the 'troublemakers' or the 'weird ones'.

The series is called 'Kidz in Biznezz' and I am hoping book one 'Before the Business' will be complete and ready for publication by the end of 2017 (if all goes to plan)(less)

Following my dreams - No Regrets!

Something magical happens when I pick up a book. My disabilities and physical limitations are irrelevant and I am able to delve into the story like any other able-bodied person. I can travel to other worlds, meet wonderful people, fight off evil and experience multiple adventures all within the safety of my own home.

In a book, I am not the girl who can’t run, or the sick person trapped in bed for

It was easy to feel connected to the characters, though the feeling of wanting the best for all involved in the story changes as the plot unfolds. The ending was frustrating lolz

It’s very easy to get invested in the characters, though the progression of the story changes the investment from wanting the best for them to suddenly despising them. Very annoying ending 🤣
