Heather Siegel is a the author of the coming-of- age memoir, OUT FROM THE UNDERWORLD, which placed as a finalist in Foreword Reviews 2016 INDIES Book of the Year Award. Her newest work, THE KING & THE QUIRKY, a Memoir of Love, Marriage, Domesticity, Feminism and Self was awarded the Readers' Favorite Book Award Gold Medal (Women's Nonfiction, 2020) and The Next Generation Indie Book Awards 1st place (Women's Issues, 2020). She holds an MFA in nonfiction from The New School, teaches academic writing and creative writing, and runs a book incubator through @creativewritery.
