Joel Kreissman answered Goodreads's question: Where did you get the idea for your most recent book? I got the idea for The Pride of Parahumans when I was getting sick of all the Anarchist propaganda being thrown around in science-fiction lately. I wanted to write a story where a state of peaceful anarchy was shown to be unsustainable....
