Today, they started a blues camp at their music school. It’s the first time in more than a year they’ll be out of the house without us for more than a few hours.
It’s quiet here. Uncomfortably quiet.
My wife and I discussed possibly grabbing lunch together. It felt weird, like we were doing something wrong.
It’s going to take a long time before normal feels normal again.
Until then, I’m just here. In the uncomfortable quiet. Trying to remember what the world was like.
