My favorites are:

Miyazaki's Spirited Away, Melanie Laurent's Respire (Breathe), David Lynch's Mullholland Drive, Twin Peaks and The Straight Story. I just watched the movie Secretary for the first time, with Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader. Loved it. Maggie gave me a whole new kind of heroine.(less)
