Another of my poems...
And here is another love poem....of sorts...
__________________________________A THOUSAND SHADES OF PERFECTIONI could just see you lying thereFully covered in dark brown skinI saw it from all the way hereIn that dream I would soon begin
I have no dreams you are not in
May you wish to rescue me from sinKnow that sinners do not love this pureOf this my love, you can be quite sureAnd this, my love, shall never wear thin
You now enlighten the obscure
I then dreamt a smile on your faceAnd had dressed you in fine thin laceWhile your legs dangled from the bedI searched for words I could have said
Simply a sigh to make me strong
When the moments become too longA separation, my heart criesBefore it can do any wrongYour love ensures it never dies
You make all my problems seem small
I humbly waited for your callYou who owned me from the startSaving all my love on your wallAnd not missing a single part
You are the poem of my heart________________________

Three is a charm!
They say three's a charm? Let us hope it is so today as well! Why? Because I am going to share a third poem today with you! Did you hear that right? Yep! A third poem!

_____________SOMNIA VERA(DREAMS DO COME TRUE)Your words carry unseen feelingsHappiness folded within themWhen the words then open upAnd your loving voice is heardThese tears of happiness unfold
With no fore warning whatsoeverThis happiness spreads within meFirst throughout my rusted soulThen my sore heart, my tired mind, And soon all else follows

Hey all!I am in a very good mood today! It's raining out, and the clouds are covering the hilltops. Great weather for a Saturday, but can't do laundry.I'm here feeling like sharing more with you good folks, so I will.What about another poem? Hmm, that ought to whet some appetites! And more will come.
Here's another one I have chosen to share with you, it's an ode to my father who passed in 1988. He was an amazingly strong man.

A SINGLE SMILE
Such a weary face
Years of hardship encanyonned on it
Like old cuneiforms
And this, a single smile
That flows
Into those wretched gorges
Filling them up, and filing them away
Eroding away the erosion
That time places upon us all
In defianceWeariness has crow-footed the edges
Even out and beyond our eye’s extent
And smothered the light
That once radiated out, from within
And this, a single smile
Un-shades
And re-forms
Our naturalness
And drops the essence of stars
Back into its rightful place

Another FREE fragment
Hey there!
Time for another fragment from my #ebook Suddenly Death.This time from a story you have read nothing of.
Here it is:________TWISTEDThe intercom broadcast a flight that had just landed. It followed with a security bulletinwarning travelers to not leave their baggage unattended.One of the three baggage belts was not rotating. On another belt, two lone pieces of luggagemade one more round and disappeared. The third belt brought in a new load of luggage. Fewtraveled that time of the day except for this transoceanic flight.The young couple walked to the third belt, stood at the bend where the belt rotates back out,other travelers stood at different locations along it. Another couple stood waiting, dressed insummer wear, the woman with a small child asleep in a chest carrier, the man with arms acrosshis chest.The flight had been long and high-priced at short notice, and neither the young man norwoman had slept or spoken much.A baggage porter approached them, the young man shook his head, and the porter returnedto his earlier location.“It’s even warm in here, Sweet. I like it,” the young woman said. “It’s good to get awayfrom the cold.”The belt filled up with more baggage. He had marked their valises with pieces of red ribbon,but none had come off the plane yet.“Sweet, someone’s waving,” said the young woman. “Isn’t that your dad?”________
