I was born in Wyandotte, Michigan to parents, one of French descent, the other British. Their relationship mirrored the historic quarrels of the two countries. They did, however instill in me and my five siblings a great love of books, movies and theater. I also have been fortunate enough to travel to England many, many times. I love it. Last time around I even got to visit Highclere Castle which for you Downton Abbey fans is almost a shrine.
I have degrees (B.A./M.A) from Eastern Michigan University in French and English and Secondary Education. I have an Ed. Spec. from Oakland University in Gifted & Talented Education. I've retired from all that now and have time to at last "practice what I teach" and just write. My first novel, NOLA Gals ...more
