How did the bicyclist NOT get charged?
Well, this article is a nightmare come true for all dog walkers/families who use the off-leash/park areas of Edmonton.

Why Writers Need Friends
Thanks to fellow EWG member for the clarification (again! One of these days, I’ll get it straightened out in my head) on passed versus past. As per Laurie:
Past can be:
An adjective - I was thinking of past times
An adverb - They hurried past (i.e. along)
A noun - I'm not going to reveal my past to anyone
A preposition - I walked past the store without thinking (i.e. in front of) or He's past retirement age (i.e. beyond)
Passed is the Past Participle of To pass.and is used of passing exams...

Are You the 1% Writer?
When you grow up in Georgetown, Guyana, you get used to certain things: sugarcane fields, hot days, and blood-sucking, vampire bats. Tor the most part, the bats weren’t too much trouble but occasionally, they’d get into the house. My dad would go after them, broom in hand…he’d disappear for a while, then come back with something black in his hand.
I knew what it was: his sock. He’d chase us around the house. My sister & I would squeal and shriek, screaming, “No, Daddy! Don’t throw it"!...

And…
I’ve been staring at the computer screen for hours (okay, 12 minutes), trying to think of what comes next in this Christian novel I’m working on and…I feel the sudden urge to switch back to mystery and kill somebody.

These are the ‘...

Will The Headaches Never End?
ARUGH! Just found out my Twitterfeed isn’t updating to my Facebook page. Holy Schmoly. There isn’t enough meds to get rid of this technological headache!
The Work is NEVER Done
Thought the website was all up & golden, then found out if you google and try to click on the link, you get an error message. More research, more confusing DNS jargon, only to read “SOMETIMES GOOGLE GETS STUCK and you have to reset the information.”
Stuck. Stuck?!
Holy crap. Thank God we’re living in the most technologically advanced time. *eye roll*
It should all be fixed, now. If not, someone let me know.
