A Coney Island of the Mind by Lawrence Ferlinghetti
"One of the greatest influences of my teen years. Meeting and working with him in 1984 was an experience I'll never forget. Yeah, I still have my "ancient" copy of this book from the 1950's!"

Rein and 653 other people liked Jason's review of Mrs. Dalloway:
Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
"Experiencing Mrs. Dalloway is like being a piece of luggage on an airport conveyor belt, traversing lazily through a crowd of passengers, over and around and back again, but with the added bonus of being able to read people’s thoughts as they pass; t" Read more of this review »

I am really glad that my first encounter with Woolf's novels, a bit less than 40 years ago, came to nothing. I was at the university then and started "To the Lighthouse" to divert me from the Japanese classics I was reading at the time. It was an "ed ...more

Võrreldes sarja avapauguga jääb see raamat pisut kahvatumaks, kuigi üsna korralik lugemine on seegi.

“For what food is a name if it isn't tied up in a network, connected to faces over the span in time, discovered in the trails that could demarcate the world?”

Maailm mängib keelte pilliga.
Olla elus - siin on õudset riski;
