Apparently yesterday was ✨National Thank a Teacher Day✨ so I thought I’d share this picture book I had the pleasure of illustrating💕

It’s all about showing appreciation and thanks to teachers and highlights the difference they make in their students lives.📚

I loved working with the team at @harperkids and coming up with lots of ideas for how the illustrations could portray all the different ways that teachers inspire, care and teach!

One of my most favourite illustrations from the book are the endpapers which we designed to look like a classic school chalk board!🍎

I had so much fun frantically scribbling down all of the animals. They were all very busy and constantly on the move so it was a great challenge!✏️

Meet Popcorn, Waffle, Pancake and Dib Dab (I forget who’s who😂) They were all SO cute and excellent models!

Things are reopening now here in the UK and I feel like I’m still getting used to the idea! I’ve been so busy with work plus we’ve been doing lots on our allotment so there hasn’t been time for other things. Really looking forward to revisiting cinemas and art galleries very soon though!✨
