Clare London – seasonal free fiction at Prism Book Alliance

Clare-London-OtM
Please drop in at Prism Book Alliance: Outside the Marginsthis week for my monthly post.

This month, I couldn’t manage to produce a coherent, thoughtful post (too much Christmas chocolate rots the brain! *g*) – so here’s free fiction instead :)

Rampant Mistletoe” – go read with my seasonal good wishes!

Follow my other posts – and those from many other great guest authors – from HERE.

WAK xmas banner

As a special New Year’s offer, Sue and I are offering ALL the With A Kick titles at 50% discount during the month of January.

And it’s also to announce the upcoming release of DOUBLE SCOOP, the next title to be released in February.

A sudden disaster strikes everyone’s favourite ice cream shop, With A Kick. Not only does it threaten the livelihood of its owner, Patrick, but also his loyal assistant Lee. The last thing in the world Patrick would ever want to do is hurt Lee, either physically...

From my Christmas/New Year story NOWHERE TO HIDEstarring Dan who’s struggling with a troubled life and his ever-patient boyfriend Aaron. Is this going to be the year Dan welcomes Aaron fully into his heart?

He frowns: I can see him better than he can see me at the moment. “You don’t need to hide in the dark. To avoid facing me. I hoped you trusted me.”

“Oh, but I do,...

Thankfulness – my Dec 2015 post

untitled (3).png

I was over at Tina’s blogRedz Worldearlier this month, talking about thankfulness.

She has a blog-full of wonderful authors, all with their thoughts on 2015 and what they’re thankful for.

This is the time to consider such things, in my humble opinion. Gratitude that I’ve got food, shelter, family, love and occupation for the coming year.

All my best wishes and hopes for the same, to everyone!heart

12 Courses by EM Lynley – very tasty!

12CoursesFS300

I’m really enjoying the new book from EM! There’s a real sense of commercial kitchen life, the ups and the downs, the triumphs and the struggles. I really like the way the story engages all the senses – I can taste and smellnot just the food, but experience the heat and the noise in the kitchen. The scenes are vivid with colour and emotion. And the tension between the main characters…? *phew*.

Anyway, back to reading the last 25% in time for Christmas :)

And in case I can tempt you to join m...

Clare London book discount – Boxing Day at ARE

Yes, I KNOW you’ll be comatose on Boxing Day (26th) after eating and drinking and generally not-working (hopefully) over Christmas Day. But if you can stagger to the screen, and you’d like to try the WITH A KICK series, #1 A TWIST AND TWO BALLS is on offer at All Romance Ebooks on 26th at a very reasonable $1.50. I think you have to buy another book at the time… but that’s probably no hardship for us, is it?! :)

Nice and Snow by Clare London – new review

untitled (3).png

NICE AND SNOWhas received a lovely review at Hearts on Fire Reviews.

EXCERPT from Lucy’s review:
“…Nuri and Eddy have quiet plans for Christmas and they are happy about that, though Eddy would love to see his parents and we still have Nuri missing Turkey. When they stop to help a random “Santa”, they are unbelieving as he gives them a wish. Sure, a wish, as if they believe that. The fact that they each use their “wish” for the benefit of the other, to understand “deepest, most personal, most...

I’m still ina Christmas mood :) so here’s a bit from my Christmas story POP-UPS starring workaholic Jack and laid-back Henry, his friend (with benefits) and unofficial IT help desk. But on his own this Christmas, what’s Jack to do when pop-ups start appearing on his PC?!
