COVER ART BEAUTY at Elisa's...

I'm having a LOT of fun following Elisa Rolle's Cover Art Contest .
It's on round#4 by now and the original 508 covers are gradually reducing down to the final 10 :).
And each voting stage is a chance to scroll through some truly gorgeous art, so go and treat yourself!
If you have an LJ account, you can vote in the poll, for as few or as many covers as you like. As at round#4, there are still 250 in the running, and these include mine for Blinded by Our Eyes, Touch and the anthology A Brush of W...

It's out today! *clare in an excited whirl*
You can BUY it here .
And here's the Blurb if I haven't rambled on about it enough already:
Tanner Mackay and Niall Sutherland were once far more than just fellow intelligence agents. But then a mission went horribly wrong and everything fell apart, sending Tanner into hiding and splitting the team and their affair wide apart.

SOCIAL MEDIA - Marvel or Millstone?!

Here we are again! Chrissy Munder and I, chatting today on the rather topical topic (?!) of MySpace v Facebook.
Rumors of My Death Are Greatly Exaggerated - or MySpace vs. Facebook, Let's Talk.
Social media sites...
Love 'em? Hate 'em?
Are they useful? Are they fun? Are they the devil personified?
Prefer one to the other?
Prefer to gnaw your left arm off than battle your way through them?
Anyway, cut the questions, Clare, and let people read it for themselves.
Hosted this month on Chrissy's Blog ...

WHERE ART AND FICTION MEET...
Great news!

Illustrated Men is now out for sale in Ebook at MLR and Amazon in print.
From the author and inspiration, Michael Breyette:
Please note: Michael's site contains ADULT art and you should be of age and maturity to access it.
"A thousand words, a single picture... Since artists are often called upon to turn prose into a visual for such things as book covers, I wondered, would writers be able to pick up the creative torch and run in the opposite direction? I had little doubts they could a...

It was a very good day...
Didn't we have a lovely time...!
The UK M/M meet was great, with twelve of us there in total. This most excellent number meant everyone had a chance to join in, everyone could see and meet everyone else, and yet there was no chance of noisy tumbleweeds in the (very pleasant and comfortable) room. Other people have posted more eloquently and amusingly about the day (!) but the agenda included a quiz, plenty of tea/coffee and great refreshments, all our introductions, discussions on tax and pub...

IT ISN'T PARANOIA...
... if they really *are* out to get you :).

Say hi to Barbie, my outrageously bright and well-travelled #2 laptop...
My Toshiba laptop (which I use as a desk top at home) picked up a virus on Thursday night - a persistent "anti-spyware" application, that won't get out of of the start-up menu, won't be uninstalled and is doing God knows what damage in the meantime. Our IT knowledge isn't up to the task, so I had to leave it at work on Friday with our expert there, in the hope he can clear it ove...

4* REVIEW FOR BLINDED BY OUR EYES

I've had a 4* review from Three Dollar Bill Reviews for Blinded by Our Eyes .
EXCERPTS: I like the way he gradually uncovers a lot of things that were going on around him before the murder, right under his nose even, but he was oblivious to them. They show how detached and complacent he had been before. The shock of the murder has shaken him out of that, made him more aware of the world. His attraction to Antony makes him even more so. His senses seem heightened; he notices things he wouldn't h...
