I'm thrilled that ROMA AMOR, my novel about Caligula's Rome, has been getting great reader reviews. If you like historical fiction with a mystery at its heart, you too may enjoy it!

I've been writing all my life. Early influences were Rosemary Sutcliff and Mary Renault. More recently, I've loved Gates of Fire and The Song of Achilles. I'm currently working on the second book in the Roma series, AMBER ROAD, to be published in 2018.

On a personal note, I live in coastal Maine with my husband and a couple of cats. With "money therapist" Olivia Mellan, I also write money psychology books for consumers and financial advisors.

Sherry Christie Oh, it would have to be Claire and Jamie Fraser. They're each so independent and capable, yet utterly committed to each other.

I loved Elizabeth Fremantle's Tudor books, but just couldn't get into this one. It might be okay if you like romance of the "will they/won't they" variety. Sorry to say that I abandoned the novel about 1/3 way through.
