Elsevier agreed to return the rights to me for the four books I wrote for them. I'll be producing new editions over the next year through Amazon KDP. They will be rather more reasonably priced than the Elsevier editions. I'm going to update my first book first. An applied guide to process and plant design third edition should be available to buy in about three months time...

Auditing Wastewater Treatment Plant: Trickling Filters

I had another enquiry during the week, this time for an independent audit of a municipal wastewater treatment plant based on old-fashioned tricking filters. There's always good scope for upgrades with this old technology, as long as the basic structures are sound. I have carried out hundreds of audits of the state of design, construction, operation and maintenance of water treatment plants. Checking sufficiency of design, identifying bottlenecks, analyzing sampling and other operation data etc. are very much what I do, whether I am doing it to identify candidates for capex programmes, troubleshooting, or expert witness reports.
