Hilaria Alexander is the author of Prude, This Love and FU Cancer. Born and raised in Italy, she studied English and Japanese at the Istituto Universitario Orientale in Naples, Italy and lived one year in Tokyo, Japan, as part of an exchange program. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and kids. When she isn't working, she is reading, catching up on TV shows and making up storylines in her mind. She is a self-proclaimed concert addict.

There were scenes that I didn't know how to describe, passages I was unsure of. Sometimes you need to take a break and reboot your brain (just like Prudence does), other times you probably have to just keep going. You might end up deleting most of what you think it’s terrible, or you might actually come up with something that it isn’t so bad. I was stuck for one of the final scenes of this book, and I think it took me a few weeks to tie all the loose ends. I ended up writing it on my phone, in a parking lot, on a Friday afternoon.(less)
