Just in time for the holidays

Picture A new edition of Mistletoe and Murder with beautiful new artwork comes out Oct. 13th. A great gift for you and/or the mystery readers on your list! Join Daisy and assorted relatives in a 15th century fortified manor house, home of a decidedly eccentric family, for Christmas 1923.

Left Coast Crime

Next month I'm going to Left Coast Crime in San Diego (which happily happens to be the area where my son and grandkids live). I'm going to be on a panel with Rhys Bowen, Catriona Macpherson et al about the continuing appeal in the US of British mysteries.
If you have any thoughts on the subject, please let me know!

Halloween

Halloween is nearly here--did you know I wrote a ghost book? In The Actress and the Rake, the heroine's grandfather's ghost keeps interfering in her life, and not with helpful intentions! Originally published as The Lady and the Rake because Kensington's art department said the title was too long to fit on the cover...

Benefit for NZ victims

This is an anthology in aid of the victims of the mosque shootings in Christchurch, New Zealand. It includes a science fiction story written by yours truly several decades ago--How to Babysit an Alien--about a teenage girl and her experiences with a variety of non-human children--seemed appropriate for the cause. Do buy if you can, to help the families put their lives back together.

Guest blog post: where my ideas come from.

Picture Picture Picture Picture Picture This is REALLY weird. As you probably know, these colours are like a negative of the actual cover. No idea why it came out like this or what to do about it!

INTERVIEW with James Terry

https://www.jamesdaterryauthor.com/?p=767
Picture "Although Carola Dunn has lived in the US for 50 years, most of her 60+ books are set in her native England. The twenty-three Daisy Dalrymple mysteries take place in the 1920s and the Cornish mysteries around 1970. Carola’s books have been translated into Norwegian, Polish, Hungarian, French, German, Spanish, Czech, Russian, Hebrew, and possibly some other languages she’s forgotten. After too many years under a Southern Californian sun, which turned her red hair blond, she now lives in Oregon."
