Keith Kelly was born and raised in Slidell, Louisiana, just across the Pontchartrain from New Orleans. He formerly worked in the fast-paced world of advertising at agencies in both New Orleans, LA, and Herndon, VA (Metropolitan D.C. area), where he worked on highly successful tourism campaigns for both states. Keith was one of the key creatives (for a while the only one) in Cambodia for the start of ASIAlife magazine in country. Author of one book (so far), Mrenh Gongveal: Chasing the Elves of the Khmer . Some I ran across were quite interesting and their design was unique to the people that displayed them. These I started to document in photos. After developing quite a collection and talking to people, I also realized that some people had little idea of what they were other than the belief that they brought "luck." This inspired me to find out more about the Mrenh Gongveal and put it all together in a form that I could share with other people.(less)
