Cover Reveal!: Marie Meyer's ACROSS THE DISTANCE

I recently got to know Marie through a group I'm a part of--and I'm telling you, her heart is made of gold or whatever comparable substance that makes her a doll. Her book, ACROSS THE DISTANCE, sounds like it's going to be AMAZING! So, no more preamble...here's Marie's cover for ACROSS THE DISTANCE.   ACROSS THE DISTANCE is a New Adult Contemporary Romance coming from Grand Central Forever Yours on May 5, 2015! Pre-order it here: Amazon // Barnes and Noble   There's a drawer I never open. It

Book Blitz!: Meredith Tate's MISSING PIECES

Hey guys! Okay, so I've been raving about Meredith's story for a while now...so I was all too honored to take part in her book blitz!       “Your family is the most important part of your life. Your families are the people you love, and love is what separates us from scoundrels and criminals. It maintains order. Your parents, your sibling, and your Partner are the ones you love. There should never, ever, be anyone else who comes close to that bond. You have only one best friend, and that is the

COVER REVEAL!: RUN AWAY by Laura Salters

Okay, a) I'm crazy excited for this book and b) I have a rather large girl crush on the author, Laura Salters. She's witty, funny, beautiful and sweet so if her book is anything like her, I'm buying it ASAP. Without further adieu...here is the cover for Laura Salters' RUN AWAY!   Drenched in blood and sitting in the sweltering interview room of a Thai police station, Kayla Finch knows that Sam, the love of her life, is dead. It doesn't matter that there's no body. All that blood can only mean

Gratituesday: Good books from good friends! A book review of Meredith Tate's MISSING PIECES

Sometimes you read a book that stays with you. My friend Meredith's book, Missing Pieces, was one of them. I showed you all her beautiful cover recently--well, today, is her book birthday! I was expecting to finish it over the course of a few days but I ended up reading it in one sitting. It was crazy. I kept turning page after page, because I had to know what happened to these characters.   Trace Bailey's mouth is her worst enemy-somehow it always gets her in trouble. Luckily, she has a partner

Remember that time I told you cover reveals are a HUGE deal for authors? Well, here's another one! I'm really excited about this one--Cindy Thomas is a friend I met on Facebook and Twitter (you know, all that writer networking magic!) and she is one of the most helpful and kind people I've met yet. Check out her (beautiful!) cover below and the description of her paranormal New Adult...which I'll be giving away next month! Keep an eye out. BECKON ME comes out on April 13th! Preorder it HERE on

Gratituesday: Taking a break!

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day. Mine was a little...low key, for lack of a better description. Over the last ten years, I either had a valentine, or my lovely father would buy me flowers, or since I was a teacher, I had a classroom full of little sweethearts to celebrate with. This year, since I've taken a break to write full-time, my dad was in India, there was no valentine in sight and my friends were all busy, it was quiet. Very, very quiet. And, oddly, that's what

COVER REVEAL! Meredith Tate's 'Missing Pieces'

HOLY COW! I am so excited to do my very first cover reveal for a dear friend, Meredith Tate! For those of you who don't know, revealing a cover is a HUGE deal for an author--its the first point of contact for your book and more importantly, it lets everybody know what to look for! I am so thrilled to show off Meredith's cover because her book, MISSING PIECES, has such an incredible premise. If you love speculative stories, this one was written for you. It releases on March 3rd, but if you don't

Gratituesday--a new tradition!

Hello, everyone! It's been a little while, hasn't it? I feel like I say that too much. I'll be honest...I love engaging on Twitter and Facebook but my blog goes ignored far too often. So, with that, I wanted to start a new goal for the year--I know New Year's passed a month ago but sometimes, it takes a while to sort out what you need to fix. I do this thing on Tuesdays--Gratituesday--where I try to send a message to someone who has helped me in the past. Sometimes, it's a gesture and other
