DELAYED PENALTY by Sophia Henry
If the cover for this book wasn't sexy enough...the hero of the story, Aleksandr, sure is. Body. Check. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Sophia Henry's book, DELAYED PENALTY, last month. I read it in less than a day. Check out the Giveaway for a bundle, and get it now. Reading about 'Auduskha' and 'Sasha' was even more fun because of the Russian nicknames and culture sprinkled in. It was never overwhelming--but those tiny details about Russia were exactly what made this story

THE LIST by Kate L. Mary
Some of you might have heard about Kate L. Mary--she's the incredible author of both the Broken World and Collision Series (about zombies, no less!). Now, she's bringing her talents to the New Adult world, where her book, THE LIST, debuted two days ago. I had the incredible privilege of reading an advance copy of THE LIST and it is one sweet, tension-filled story that I think people are going to LOVE if they want a great romance. Check out the information below.Buy it here. Thank me later.

Best friends. I just want to experience the normal things teenagersexperience. While I’m still a teenager. I’ll be nineteen next month, and I haven’t done anything! Ihave one year.”Cami nodded as a slow smile spread across her face. “Kind of like a bucket list for your teenyears.”I grinned and my wet hair bounced around when I nodded emphatically. “Exactly!”Cami jumped to her feet and started pacing the room. “That I can help with! But we shouldstart a list right now. Write it all down, so we can mark it off as we go.”My insides jumped and fired to life, and I got to my feet too. “That’s a great idea.”Cami grabbed a notebook and flipped it open, then grabbed a pink Sharpie. At the top ofthe paper she scribbled Annie’s Bucket List. “Okay, what’s first?”I chewed on my bottom lip and ran my hand through my damp hair. “Let’s start small. Buymakeup.”Cami nodded and jotted it down, then said, “And some new clothes and shoes. Girly stuff.”She wrote down, buy a dress and heels and I inwardly cringed. Wearing heels seemed a bitunrealistic, but I was determined to do this. Even if I fell out of my shoes and broke my arm in theprocess.“Get highlights,” I said.Cami giggled while she wrote. “With your hair, I’d get lowlights.”I nodded even though I had no idea what she was talking about. She’d know better than me.Cami looked up and raised an eyebrow. “Get your ears pierced?”“And something else too! Like my nose or my belly button!” I was getting really excited.Bouncing around like Cami. I’d always been intrigued by the way most girls these days glinted underthe lights. It was rare, especially in California, to see girls in their teens without multiple piercings. Iwanted to be one of those girls.Cami wrote it down before looking back at me. “A tattoo?”I hadn’t even considered that one. Something inside me jumped, but with the painful way ittwisted I wasn’t sure if it was fear or excitement. “I don’t know…”“We’ll put that one on the shelf for now. What else? Just fire them off and I’ll write as fast asI can.”I took a deep breath and went for it. She was willing to help, so I shouldn’t be scared aboutrevealing how little I’d done. “Go on a date, go to a formal, go skinny-dipping, get drunk, have afirst kiss, stay up all night, take a road trip with a group of friends.” I took a deep breath and peeredat her out of the corner of my eye, but she hadn’t even blinked and she was still scribbling away.“Have sex….”
BIO:Kate L. Mary is a stay-at-home mother of four and an Air Force wife. She grew up in a small town just north of Dayton, Ohio where she and her husband met at the age of twelve. Since their marriage in 2002, they have lived in Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and California. Kate enjoys any post-apocalyptic story - especially if zombies are involved - as long as there is a romantic twist to give the story hope. Kate prefers nerdy, non-traditional heroes who can make you laugh to hunky pieces of man-meat, and her love of wine and chocolate is legendary among her friends and family. She currently resides in Oklahoma with her husband and children. Review of Run Away by Laura Salters
And the book release train just keeps on chugging...Laura Salters is one of my best writer friends--besides our relationship basically being a real-life girl version of JD and Turk from Scrubs (Love you, Vanilla Bear), she is a phenomenal writer and I look up to her in so many ways. Her book... Holy. Cow. I'm not usually a big suspense reader--I like the ones I've read but it's not something I automatically grab. This book might change that. Laura's story is all encompassing--a love story, a

Q&A with Marie Meyer!
Across the Distance released two days ago--on May 5th. I've talked about the book at length...it's a touching story of friendship turned to love and all the magic it can bring, along with the heartbreak. Marie, the author, is a friend of mine and we share a writers' group. She's one of the sweetest people I've ever gotten to interact with--no lie--and I'm so excited that she gets to answer some questions for me! Where did the inspiration come from behind AtD? A little over two years ago I

Q&A with Ara Grigorian!
Hi guys! I'm so excited because for a change, I got to be the interviewer and someone else got to be the interviewee...and now I respect people who come up with interesting questions so much more! Ara's release was yesterday--Game of Love is a book I talk about ALL. THE. TIME.--so it only seemed appropriate to have an interview with him and pick his brain a little bit. It has only solidified my opinion that Ara is one of the best guys out there and it's a privilege to know him. -What
