Move from Preaching to Caring
Turn Your Articles, Blog Posts, and Books into Content that Sells
How do we turn our preaching into caring content? It starts with:
Empathetic Storytelling: Weave relatable anecdotes that showcase your understanding of your audience’s experiences.
Understanding Pain Points: Identify the challenges your readers face and address them with genuine concern.
Practical Solutions: Offer actionable advice that stems from a sincere desire to help your readers overcome their issues.
Authenticity Matters: Share personal stories of growth and learning to connect with your audience on a human level.
Active Listening: Engage with your audience’s feedback and respond with empathy and insights.
Subtle Advice Integration: Integrate advice into relatable scenarios rather than stating opinions outright.
Walk in Their Shoes: Write from the reader’s perspective, acknowledging their emotions and concerns.
Open Dialogue: Encourage discussions that allow readers to share their experiences and insights.
Tailored Solutions: Offer customized solutions that cater to your diverse readers’ needs and preferences.
Positive Impact: Keep the focus on helping and inspiring your readers rather than instructing or preaching.
Community Building: Foster a sense of community where readers feel cared for and supported.
Sincere Tone: Convey your message with a genuine and caring tone, showing that you truly value your readers’ well-being.

How To BrainstormYour Book With AI Chat
In this episode we discuss how to brainstorm with AI Chat to develop ideas and outlines for your writing projects — how AI Chat https://chat.openai.com/ can help organize your thoughts, structure your content, and provide suggestions for headings or subtopics.
How to Brainstorm with AI ChatDefine the topic or problem: Clearly identify the topic or problem you want to brainstorm about. It could be anything from generating new ideas for a project, solving a specific challenge, or exploring different possibilities.State your objectives: Clearly communicate your objectives and what you hope to achieve through the brainstorming session. This will help guide the AI Chat in providing relevant suggestions.Ask open-ended questions: Pose open-ended questions to the AI Chat to initiate the brainstorming process. Open-ended questions encourage the AI to generate creative responses and explore different angles. For example, you could ask, “What are some innovative solutions for reducing plastic waste?” or “How can we improve customer satisfaction in our business?”Encourage the generation of multiple ideas: Request the AI Chat to provide multiple ideas or suggestions. The quantity of ideas can lead to more diverse and unique concepts. You can ask the AI to “Give me five different approaches to tackle this problem” or “What are some unconventional strategies we can consider?”Build upon the suggestions: Once you receive initial ideas or suggestions from the AI, analyze them and build upon them. Evaluate the suggestions critically, combine or modify them, and ask follow-up questions to dig deeper into specific ideas that catch your interest.Embrace tangents and unexpected responses: AI Chat can sometimes provide unexpected or tangential responses that may spark new ideas or unconventional thinking. Embrace these moments and explore the possibilities they present.Record and review the ideas: Keep track of the ideas generated during the brainstorming session. Take notes, write them down, or use any other method that helps you record the ideas effectively. After the session, review the ideas and identify the most promising ones for further development.Iterate and refine: Brainstorming is often an iterative process. Use the ideas generated in the initial session as a starting point and continue to refine and develop them further. Ask the AI for feedback on specific ideas or seek suggestions for improvement. The post How To BrainstormYour Book With AI Chat appeared first on Eddie Jones - Author.

The Power of Encouragement
The "Inspired" Magic of Writing with Believers
In this episode, we explore the power of encouragement and the inspiration that a community of believers brings to the writing process. Join us as we discuss the importance of being involved in a writing group of individuals who not only share a passion for writing but also genuinely believe in your talent, message, and the value of your work.
Unlike traditional critique groups, where the primary focus is on analyzing and providing constructive criticism, an encourager-based writing group inspires writers to flourish and thrive. We discuss how such an environment can fuel creativity, boost confidence, and provide the necessary motivation to overcome obstacles and self-doubt.
Drawing from personal experiences and anecdotes, we highlight the numerous benefits of surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals who not only appreciate your writing style but also find joy in the stories you weave. We explore how their support, kind words, and genuine enthusiasm can help you push through challenges, navigate creative slumps, and maintain a positive mindset throughout your writing journey.
Additionally, we share practical tips on finding or creating an encourager-based writing group, whether through local meetups, online platforms, or cultivating relationships within existing writing communities. Tune in to this episode to learn how surrounding yourself with an encouraging writing group can breathe new life into your writing and help you finish that next project.
