Happy Wellness Wednesday, Friends!  I started writing about wellness topics on Wednesdays, as I noted so many of my friends & creatives struggle with balance, as do I. Join me on my humble journey to wellness, picking fruit along the way, but also stopping to rest, once in a while.

I am mixing it up today, in honor of Apple Sauce Cake Day.  Apparently, that’s a thing.  Click here if you...

Denise’s Recent Updates

Denise is on page 150 of 427 of Thrawn: Typically in these novels, one chapter ends with a group in trouble, and the next chapter is all, meanwhile, Chewie and friends are back on XXX planet/ship until their plan goes awry and SUDDENLY THE TEAM IS SEPARATED! OH NOES! Meanwhile, group A, etc. But there's no Chewie and friends in this novel. There's a little bit of back and forth here, but no one we care about as much.

Denise Summer Reading:
I am lining up my selections for my summer reading. Includes Star Wars: Dark Force Rising by Timothy Zahn, Mix tapes & Roller Skates by Tracy Krimmer, What Would Lizzie Bennett Do? by Katie Oliver, Fractured Dream by K. M. Randall, Blogger Girl by Meredith Schorr, and Inferno by Dan Brown. A little bit of everything: sci-fi, chick-lit, fantasy and thriller. What are you reading this summer?

Denise I reread "The Miracle of Santo Fico" every year before Easter. It's a wonderful story about a charming, somewhat dysfunctional community in a quaint, forgotten Italian village. If you enjoyed Chocolat, you will enjoy this book. Want to read along with me this year? We can have a virtual bookclub. Let me know! I'm starting reading on Sunday, April 1st.
Peace,
Denise
