To share or not to share
That's NEVER a question for me. I'm a sharer. Always. To a fault. I just want y'all to know that it is absolutely driving me insane not to be able to share stuff from my books. Thus far in my career, I've always been able to share what I'm working on because I publish so quickly after finishing. But now...now I find that I can rarely, if ever do that anymore. I can't share my Berkley projects. I can't share the one I just finished because it's not time yet. GAH! It's. Driving. Me. Crazy. More so now than ever!
*stops to take a deep breath and compose self*
Anyway, I just wanted y'all to know that I simply CANNOT WAIT to be able to share some graphics and excerpts and teasers, fun posts and swag with you, even if I might be even CRAZIER by the time I can. *sigh*
Until then, HAPPY TUESDAY!

WILD CHILD- Cover Reveal and Blurb
It's been over a year since you met Trick and Cami. Rusty and Jenna have waited patiently to have their story told. The time has come. On October 22, see whether the wild best friends of Trick and Cami will get the happy ending they didn't even know they wanted. Until they met each other.
Jenna Theopolis has always known what she wanted. Getting out of her small hometown of Greenfield was number one on her list of priorities. Until she met Rusty Catron.
Rusty’s fun-loving personality was the perfect match for Jenna’s inner wild child. But what started off as a summer fling quickly turns into something more. At least it does for Jenna.
Rusty has lived with the ghost of his father’s abandonment since he was a child, but now he’s beginning to feel the crippling effects of his scars. He wants to trust in Jenna, but deep down he doesn’t believe someone so wild and free can ever be tamed.
But tragedy strikes, pushing Jenna out of Greenfield and leaving Rusty with a choice to make—face his inner demons or lose the love of his life. Forever.

Everything for Us- The Soundtrack
I know many of you are curious as to where the songs from the playlist fit in the story, and that listening as you read or think about the book enhances the experience. It certainly does for me! LOL So, with that in mind, I'm adding the playlist to my sidebar (in its entirety), as well as putting the YouTube videos in here for a few songs, along with a few non-spoilery sentences explaining how they fit into the story. I hope you enjoy it and that it enriches the love story of Nash and Marissa for you:)
Bad for Me-- This song captures Marissa's struggle with knowing Nash is bad for her, but being unwilling (or unable?) to walk away.
Fast Car-- I feel like this is Nash's overall feeling toward Marissa in the first portion of the book. As far as a scene goes, think of the library. *wink*
Your Love is My Drug-- Marissa knows Nash is like a drug to her. And Nash might just feel the same way.
I Touch Myself-- If you've read it, you know where this one comes in. *wink*
Beneath Your Beautiful-- This song is perfect for the entire story. Both Marissa and Nash are beautiful on the outside. That's undeniable. What they hide is the ugly that they feel. And what they want is to see the real beauty in the other, the beauty they each know is there in the other.
It's Been Awhile-- This song fits when Nash is thinking back to NOLA
The Broken Ones-- Because Marissa knows he's broken. And she is, too.
Disaster-- Marissa finds out Nash's secret and feels everything between them crumbling down around her.
Endlessly-- Because, he will.

Everything for Us-- why she can't stay away
This is the last glimpse into Everything for Us before it releases tomorrow. The excerpt comes along with a song that fits the position Marissa finds herself in when it comes to this strong, sexy man. She knows, without a doubt, that he's bad for her, but she can't stay away. And part of her doesn't want to. Something in her wants to get as close as she can to the flame. Every time I hear this song, I think of how she feels, and why. It's times like the one below that I think I, too, would have a hard time turning away when it feels so, so right.
The song, Bad for Me by Megan and Liz, is in my sidebar. I hope you enjoy it. And don't forget to pick up your copy tomorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrow! *twirls in excitement*
“I’d be willing to bet your parts are exceptional. In fact, now might be a good time to warn you that if we come back to this library, I’ll find out for myself. In this very spot. I’ll push you up against the books in the corner and I’ll put my hands on you. I’ll do things to you. In the quiet. And you won’t be able to make a sound. Not a whimper, not a moan. You’ll have to bite your lip to keep it all inside. And you know what?” I ask, reaching up to trace my index finger along her full, trembling lower lip.
“What?” she whispers, her pupils two dilated dots of excitement.
“You’ll love every second of it.”
With a wicked grin, I take the books from her arms and turn to walk back the way I came.

Everything for Us- music and misery
I'm often asked about how music plays a role in my writing. Although I don't listen to music as I write, music is the backdrop for nearly every word of it nonetheless. It's always there, setting the tone for where my characters are emotionally, where they've been and where they're going. In my head, once I write the scene, the music is inexorably entwined with it, like it poured from their souls into notes that I can hear. This is one example. If you've ever loved someone you knew was bad for you, someone you knew would hurt you, but you couldn't not love them, then you'll understand this.
The song: Poison and Wine by The Civil Wars You can listen to it as you read by clicking the link on my sidebar.
The scene:
“I’m so sorry for the life you had to lead. You were so young,” she says, her voice thick with emotion. “You didn’t deserve that.”
Her hand splays across my chest as she scatters kisses all over my face and neck. I feel drops of warm wetness every so often. I don’t realize they’re tears until one hits my lips and I taste the salt.
She makes her way to my stomach then down my right leg and back up again, dragging her lips and tongue along the inside of my thigh.
It’s not often I see the goodness in people. Or that they surprise me with compassion. Yet Marissa has. I just told her I’m a criminal and a killer, and rather than running the other direction, she cried for me.
Something burns deep inside my chest. I don’t have time to think about it or deny it, or devise a plan to rid myself of it. Marissa sees to that when her lips close over me. She makes it so that she’s all I can think about. She erases all other thoughts with the first swipe of her tongue. And I’m happy to let them go.

Everything for Us Giveaway Bonanza #1
Okay, so I referenced this in my previous post, and today is the first of a series of giveaways. I'm calling it a bonanza. I like saying that. Bonanza. BOnanza. BoNANza. BonanZA. Monday fun right there, am I right? *snickers*
Is anyone else remembering the Electric Company show right now?
Anyway, I'll be doing them right up until the Tuesday it releases (September 3). That one will be a doozy! But for these, I'll be posting a series of different pictures with excerpts from the book. You choose the picture you like best and share it on FB and/or Twitter (details on what to post are in the Rafflecopter on my sidebar) and voila! You're entered!
Wait, that sounded bad.
;)
But I digress. Entering is easy peasy. Up for grabs is a brand new, shiny and lovely ARC of Everything for Us, as well as a #NashtyGirl t-shirt in either apple or mandarin (pictured at the bottom), and a Cash shot glass. I'll draw a winner on Thursday morning (9-22) then post different pictures and start this all over again. I'll rinse and repeat on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of next week and then a different, bigger, better, stronger, faster, bionic-ER giveaway will start on Sunday, September 1st. If you don't remember all this, don't worry. I'll be doing a post about it on all of those days:) YAY!
So, recap: Pick the graphic you like best, share it on FB/Twitter with the post listed in the Rafflecopter, repeat as desired:)
So, the first round of graphics are below. Pick your poison and get on out there! And, as always, thank you for being awesome.
This is a pic of the t-shirts, not a pic to post. hehe
