On June 3rd that year, the town was hit by a tornado which wiped out most of the town. I chose this event because when I was growing up, the lore was that if Camanche (pop. @5,000) wouldn't have been hit by the tornado, it would've grew bigger than Clinton (pop. @35,000). My grandmother also grew up in Camanche and I loved hearing her stories.

The idea for putting a 16-year old genius in a law firm as a lawyer just popped into my head one night as I was trying to fall asleep. I thought it would be a fun story to tell and might give teens a glimpse into what it could feel like to work as an attorney.
