Born in Sacramento, California in 1969, D.M Denovi grew up predominantly in Montara, California; after having relocated several times back and forth from the West Coast, to the East Coast and back to the West.

With a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, earned earnestly through various home study programs, she traveled throughout the United States as a computer programmer. They are a "couple" in life, not explicitly labeled, which is why I love the book and the idea of their relationship—whether it be a romantically charged one or a sisterly affection, it's not the focal point of their story. There is so much more to love than the sexual aspect, which creeps too much into literature these days. We can all learn to appreciate "couples" by appreciating their struggles in life. Thank You! What a great question!!!(less)

I take the dog for a walk or head to the casino, order a cold beer and play 20 bucks in my favorite video keno machine. I watch a documentary or read about fascinating places that I had never heard of in the past. Sometimes I read something that's totally out of the genre in which I write; something boring like a medical journal or dictionary. There is information in everything. Writing requires a great deal of time with your butt firmly planted in your chair. Wrists and fingers weaken, the mind numbs for a while and the words stop flowing. That's when I hit the save button, turn off the computer and step away.(less)
