Great Reviews for The Beaten Zone

Reviews for The Beaten Zone have been favourable  Mostly 5 stars so I am a bit suspect. Glad to see them coming in, as this is one of the more challenging facets of Indie publishing.

I am promoting The Beaten Zone this week on Amazon. Its available at a reduced price for a limited time only.

Citajme

I would like to highlight the work of Denis Vukosav, the force behind the "Read Me" a non-profit organization developed to promote literacy in Croatia. It is encouraging to see these steps toward rebuilding Croatia. Those of us who recall  the bad old days of UNPROFOR in the early "90s" know full well how Bosnia and Croatia were impacted by the war. I don't want to tell a "warry" but I recall how the city of Mostar reminding me of the ruins of Pompeii as the factions fought over the city, rubbling the rubble. The link to his literacy campaign is highlighted below.

Next Book

I am closing in on the ending of my first draft for my second novel. It's another Cole Samson adventure, but this time he finds himself in the Canadian arctic. If I don't get too distracted by beaches and Aussie beer, I hope to have it out by July.

I have completed  my author's page on amazon.https://www.amazon.com/author/tommyky...
and would like to hear from readers with suggestions or comments about my work.

"The Beaten Zone" in Paperback

I have just turned the Beaten Zone into a paperback through Createspace and Amazon. Most of the readers I know are more comfortable holding a real book in their hands instead of a tablet or Kindle Reader. I can understand that. E books are great but there is something about flipping pages that can't be replaced. The paperback is available through Amazon.com. I will post the link once the amazon site is set up. It takes about 3 to 5 business days.

The Beaten Zone is now available through Amazon

I have published "The Beaten Zone" on Kindle Direct Publishing.

The Beaten Zone

A promise to a dying spy…An old vendetta………A priceless treasure…In May of 1943, German paratroops attack the small Bosnian town of Drvar, hunting the Yugoslav general, Josep Brez Tito.  But, as Fallschirmjäger leutnant Willie Moltke discovers, there is more hidden in Drvar than the partisan commander. 54 years later, Rena Moore, the granddaughter of British secret agent Captain Simon Moore is on a quest to fulfill her dying grandfather’s wish to return a religious artifact, looted by the Nazis during WWII, to its rightful guardians. Rena enlists the aid of marine salvage operator and part time security consultant Cole Samson.  They become trapped in a deadly mix of Balkan political and criminal intrigue orchestrated by the mysterious Tibor. Old enemies clash when Moltke returns to Bosnia seeking the prize that slipped through his fingers during the battle for Drvar. Can Cole and Rena escape the “Beaten Zone” with their lives?
