Hi Marge!

Nice to meet you and thanks for getting in touch and entering my recent giveaway. I'm glad you like the premise of my novel.

Do you play in a chamber ensemble or an orchestra, or solo gigs?

The Virtuoso was read by Adelia Myslov, (the concert violinist who recorded the classical soundtrack that was written to accompany it), prior to the book's publication and I'm relieved to say she enjoyed it and commented to me that it was "very real".

The story behind our collaboration is on my blog: http://wp.me/p4F0sV-wT

As a violinist you may also be interested to know that the music score for the soundtrack is also available.

I hadn't heard about 'Beethoven's Hair' until you mentioned it, I'll definitely be checking it out!

I have been reading 'Conversations with Beethoven' by Sandord Friedman which I found brilliant!

I hope you'll consider giving The Virtuoso a go, here are all the reviews on rhapsodyinwords.com: http://wp.me/P4F0sV-Dw

If you do, I'd love to hear your thoughts...

Best wishes,

“When humor goes, there goes civilization.” – Erma Bombeck

Life can be a serious business. A little too serious sometimes. Whenever I’m feeling the strain, I usually notice that my energy feels heavier and more sluggish, and my enthusiasm drops. Then I know it’s time to lighten up, be more playful, and most of all, to laugh.

Have you ever laughed so hard your stomach muscles ached, and your eye...

“It struck me tonight how music mirrors life. Fleeting ephemeral moments, made up of beauty, sadness, joy, hope and despair. Melodies which are written in both major and minor keys.
