Hi Marge!

Nice to meet you and thanks for getting in touch and entering my recent giveaway. I'm glad you like the premise of my novel.

Do you play in a chamber ensemble or an orchestra, or solo gigs?

The Virtuoso was read by Adelia Myslov, (the concert violinist who recorded the classical soundtrack that was written to accompany it), prior to the book's publication and I'm relieved to say she enjoyed it and commented to me that it was "very real".

The story behind our collaboration is on my blog: http://wp.me/p4F0sV-wT

As a violinist you may also be interested to know that the music score for the soundtrack is also available.

I hadn't heard about 'Beethoven's Hair' until you mentioned it, I'll definitely be checking it out!

I have been reading 'Conversations with Beethoven' by Sandord Friedman which I found brilliant!

I hope you'll consider giving The Virtuoso a go, here are all the reviews on rhapsodyinwords.com: http://wp.me/P4F0sV-Dw

If you do, I'd love to hear your thoughts...

Best wishes,

My Anonymous Postman Reveals Adventures I Never Would Have Imagined…

“If we don’t end war, war will end us.”

H. G. Wells

My regular postman has always been friendly. He’s cheerful and affable, even when he is being buffeted or soaked by inclement British weather. He must have a mountain of mail and parcels to deliver, but he never seems hurried and is usually chatty.

In a world where we may see certain people on a daily basis and yet know little about them, we grow

“It struck me tonight how music mirrors life. Fleeting ephemeral moments, made up of beauty, sadness, joy, hope and despair. Melodies which are written in both major and minor keys. Flowing and fleeting. You can’t hold onto it, or keep it from changing. Our emotions possess the evanescence of a note.”

“I’ve found from my own experiences that the world generally gives you back what you believe about it, like a mirror reflecting our role in it.”
