Agnijaat Chaitra begins with Holi greeting, beautiful greeting. I really hope people will practice caution during this extremely popular festival that is all about getting together and have fun!
Indie Author Speaks: 2nd round of good tips about blurb writing,
FTQFS: Very true words, law should realize and admit that women that cry wolf are not always speaking truth.
Techbabble: Raw vs jpeg- will keep the tips in mind.
India Now: Corona diaries 7 – I will agree with the authoress, after all we did elect a bunch of incompetent tyrants for the second time, all they have been doing after being elected first time was shove the country into a pit from where it will most probably crawl out after decades!
SOS: Absolutely true, not everything should be fought against, some things just blow away with time.
Intriguing Tales: thought provoking, then we all know about asaram bapoo and teachers like him!
History of India: This month pre-Aryan civilization has been discussed.
My Pen: wake up India 7: Very valid points. If Indians don’t wake up now and throw BJP out of parliament forever they will most probably become slaves of China this time and that country will never allow them freedom, ask Tibetans languishing in India if it sounds untrue.
Fun and Frolic section:
Tilbaroo station by Pat Ritter: This one sounds like a great, fascinating story.
Agnijaat book 14: Very serious read indeed!
Pikatron September 2019 critique by Editor: Will have to get the newsletter from Troy or Agni.
Why oh why? : Whatever happened to Hollywood? These days I prefer watching U.K. and Australian movies.
Indian Raga Now:
Pradeep- Amazing lyrics and great singer! His songs move the very soul~
SPOTLIGHT ON- ABBA- One of my favorites if not favorite group!
Window to West – Abbott and Costello meet mummy: Hilarious!
Falgun Shots: Four lovely shots!
Youtube channel: Already checked them all out.
Storytime: poetry from Patreon: Absolutely gorgeous painting of dancing santhals and a poetry that goes with it.
Charkapuja: It is quite popular in rural Bengal, you will see people decked up as Lord Shiva or Mother Goddess Kali out in the street
Theme: Chimera- Seven cute paintings.
The cartoon Mr Stick: true words, incompetency is first name of our current rulers.
In the end quite enjoyed the Ezine, and its colourful sketches/paintings especially they are refreshing and pretty!
That is it I guess! See you again next month, and thank you Agni/Sharmishtha for translating my works!
Yours sincerely,
Labanya

By your good old editor! Few words about the works of my much cherished authors. So the critiques will be honest, short and sweet!
Falgun by Labanya: Very true words, even a decade or two ago Falgun was pretty pleasant, morning and night were cold, now things get grisly from Magh.
Soul’s Journey by Scott Hastie: Scott’s poetry is truly amazing! His words are wise, deep and beautiful.
Of drum-rolls and Indians by saptarchi: Well I will agree with S, it is decades of minority worshipping that has turned majority of this country into the thugs they are now. Had things been just things most probably would have been better. You can’t expect elder brother to sit and get kicked, clawed and slapped by younger brother all through his life! As a parent it is your duty to keep the balance.
Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet 11: I am so enjoying this story, the third eye view of human race!
A secret revealed 4 by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: priceless ending, so very beautiful! Kindness and charity is a good medicine for self-absorbed souls.
The null dance prologue by Troy David Loy: Very beautifully written, as always!
Drowning in a tear… by Dom Collucci: so very beautiful! Parched heart soothed by a drop of tear!
Bitter Pill dose 40 by Bitter Pill: Press 2: The cheapness of Indian media has ruined the faith and credibility of press and the damage repair will be next to impossible.
Lose the load 2 by Brendan: just loved it! This is Brendan’s final work for the Ezine. Thank you for being a part of the Ezine. God bless you!
The year that never was by Pat Ritters 1: It is a new story about Joe and Hannah, will be waiting to see where it goes from here.
I believe that will be it for my critique as an editor, you will have to read the rest in Ezine. Of course there is truckloads of more works there!

Hi friends, let us begin!
Falgun issue begins with a beautiful photograph from Golconda fort, the tribute this month has been paid to Raja Ram Mohan Roy, every bengali is familiar with this great soul who has saved women from being burnt alive with their husbands. I have read about him so a little of this article was new information but quite a bit was known already.
Soul’s Journey by Scott Hastie: Beautiful, deep and thought provoking.
Of drum-rolls and Indians by saptarchi: Well Saptarchi certainly sounds quite right when s/he says that Indian minority may be cowering before thugs of present rulers but they were not very helpless under our previous rulers, since independence. It was the other way round then!
Fogline by Brieuc Martin Onraet 11: Brilliant piece.
A secret revealed 4 by Raghunandan Kuppuswamy: beautiful ending of a beautiful story.
The null dance prologue by Troy David Loy: Another well-written story.
Drowning in a tear… by Dom Collucci: what a beauty!
Bitter Pill dose 40 by Bitter Pill: Press 2: Educated India will never forgive the press under Indian Nazi regime. The way they have sold their souls and are betraying their country and its people is a real shame!
Lose the load 2 by Brendan: very beautifully written.
The year that never was by Pat Ritters 1: A new story begins, sort of sounds like pre-covid and covid-regime! Everyone thought that it will vanish with 2021, it very much stayed!
Treats:
Wish you all a happy Saraswatipuja, lovely greeting Sharmishtha!
5 lovely shots- from Agni’s zoo trip loved them all, specially the elephant one.
This month Linkedin Requests are worth checking out if you are a writer or artist.
The drover by Pat Ritter: Sounds like a good story.
Pikatron by Troy David Loy sounds like a great reading material with fractals as added beauty!
SBs’ book in amazon, waves that became songs- love the name! Will check out the book in Amazon.
Star of the Month Ustad bade fateh ali khan- Never heard his name before, will check out his songs ASAP in YouTube.
Star of West Bill Nighy: Have not watched any movie by him, nor have I heard his name before, will check out.
Star of east Nargis- A great actress with ethereal beauty! Her performance in Mother India is mind-blowing!
Youtubia-Sampat Saral- He is really witty and brave! God keep him safe from thugs and goons!
Minutes Together: The gift was a sad story that reflects human nature quite correctly.
Loved the Bengali poem and the hindi poem both. Thank you for adding my work Falgun in your ezine Agni.
Bali- It is a beautiful story about a noble king. I have only heard his name never thought he was so amazing!
TnW- we change- Absolutely true!
Scaredy Stick- Horrible incident!
The sketches all through the ezine were pretty, very colourful and lovely.
That is it I guess! See you again next month, and thank you Agni/Sharmishtha for translating my works!
Yours sincerely,
Labanya
