Thursday Rhymes 24.12.15

The gold shower tree showers

gold and green

on the resting place

of my beloved.

When I look at it

covered by gold, brown and green

I remember

the first time I saw you

standing under a gold shower tree

a bronze statue

glistening in setting sun

wind showering flowers

on the beautiful.

There are a few pairs of black drongos in this locality and sometimes they chatter without any melody and sometimes they gift us with beautiful whistles and songs. Depends on their moods I guess! I don’t know one thing though, why cant I/my camera capture their jet black body perfectly?? Any suggestions??

Have a delightful day!

Love and hugs.

Sometimes I see him peeking from sky

half hidden behind bamboo trees,

sometimes he rests awhile

on my window’s glass pane,

then sometimes he comes down

to the glittery marble floor

and smiles at me from there

my celestial friend.

Have a blessed day!

love and hugs.

chhatare seven sisters IMG_0022 17.11.15

too loud chattering

drew attention

tiptoeing to own bedroom

little sister

almost inside the room

busy eating insects

foraging the dust gathered

inside the window frame for bugs.

Oh yes a tad embarrassing me

but pleasing more by her presence.

This is the second time I saw one of them entering my room, sitting on the window, chattering away as noisily as they do, the one that visited me on 30th November was so confident that s/he even had a few mouthful of bugs before taking off.

Have a lovely day full of delightful surprises.

love and hugs.

IMG_0011 spider 24.11.15

When I was taking this picture I had an itsy bitsy suspicion that this itsy bitsy spider was camera shy! She was standing at one place when I aimed the camera and that instant she almost started to run, as fast as her eight legs will carry her!

Have a great day.

Lots of love.
