Award-winning author, Sunni Jeffers is setting course for a new life adventure. After ten years as a navy wife and mother, they moved to Denver, Colorado to manage the family security business. When her children left home, she began writing books. In 1992, Sunni and her husband moved to the Great Northwest to raise cattle, timber and hay and to give her the time to write stories of other women and their struggles and victories. Now Sunni’s fourth adventure has begun. She and her husband are exploring the US and Canada in their motorhome. As they travel, she continues writing heartwarming cozy mysteries and stories of delightful women living out their faith as they face challenges and adventures in everyday life.

When I get stalled in my writing, I usually go back and reread what I've already written. That puts me back into the story and the characters. Then I may do something to get my characters into trouble. A situation that requires choices and action. If I'm having ongoing problems getting into the story each day, I will quit in the middle of a scene so I know where to start. Once I begin writing, I can usually overcome those roadblocks. Even when I can't think what to do next, my mind is still going over and over the story. So I may take a walk or do something completely different for awhile and let the story percolate in my subconscious. It may take a while, but I will eventually have an "aha" moment when the next step becomes clear. If the answers are too easy, then readers will find the writing predictable, and that isn't good.(less)

When I create characters and a story world, they become alive in my mind and on my computer as they explore their situations and make choices that have consequences. And I love the research into real places, events, and people. Through fiction, we can see and learn how choices play out, without getting ourselves into trouble. We can also see how characters can triumph over adversity and get a glimpse into our own lives and character. It's fun, fascinating, and informative. (less)
