Audrey J. Adair (audreyjadair.com) is an author and composer. She received a B.A. degree in music education from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, and elementary certification from University of Houston, TX. She completed graduate studies at Florida International University, Miami, FL; Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL; and Shenandoah University, Winchester, VA.

Ms. Adair is an award-winning veteran music educator who has taught music at all levels in Florida, Texas and Virginia public schools. She has served as a music consultant, music specialist, instructor, choir director, classroom teacher, and music teacher for gifted and talented students and those with moderate to severe disabilities.

Ms. Adair’s collection of ten songbooks, entitled EZ-PZ DUETS for soprano recorders, will be released in February 2020 and featured exclusively on Amazon. Six of the songbooks have Ms. Adair’s original compositions, while others are her arrangements--all geared towards beginner and intermediate recorder players. "Teaching Études," a music teacher’s guidebook, goes hand in hand with the two student volumes of Étude duets. Her first publication, "Ready-to-Use Music Activities Kit," was the all-time best seller for Parker Publishing Company’s Music Educators Book Club. Her next project, published by Parker, was "Music Curriculum Activities Library," a series of seven units featuring 350 stimulating activity sheets to develop basic music concepts and skills in grades 3-8. Then came her ninth book, "START with SONG!" 201 Ready-to-Use Interdisciplinary Activities for Young Learners. The ‘Ready-to-Use’ expression that originated with her first book continues to be popular phrasing in titles by other non-fiction authors.
