I'm honored to be an inspiration!
Not 100% sure the best way to answer, only because it's possible I came out of the womb thinking I was going to be a writer, and then it became a question of what KIND of writer I was going to be.
I read a LOT as a kid, and probably learned my own style by figuring out how other writers did what they did, so if forced to trace backwards, I'd probably blame (in no particular order) Shel Silverstein, Douglas Adams, Stephen R Donaldson, Piers Anthony, Agatha Christie, Stephen King, Arthur Conan-Doyle, and the entire epic fantasy genre up to and including Tolkien, for what I'm like today.

I'm writing it right now, actually! No title yet, but I'm about 40% of the way through the first draft.

I do hope to revisit Sorrow Falls in the future, yes! I have a few things lined up first, and I don't have an *idea* yet for what that third book will be, but that hasn't stopped me before. The characters are too interesting not to write for again.
Glad you enjoyed them!

Great question! Here's the deal: there are some books which should be read in order, and some you can read any time. You can pick up any of the Immortal Chronicle novellas and read them, having read none of the novels and none of the *other* Immortal Chronicle novellas first. (The numbering of the Chronicles is strictly the order in which they were written, but they are independent of one another.) You can do this before, after or while reading the novels.
The novels DO have a reading order, which gets complicated only because there's an extra story kicking around. These go best if you read the first three Immortal novels (Immortal, Hellenic, Edge of the World) and THEN read Immortal stories: Eve, before reading novels four and five (Island of Impossible Things, From Hell.)
Hope that helps!

Charles, I apologize for having not seen this sooner. Immortal From Hell was released in December, 2018. The book following that is still pending (meaning I haven't started writing it yet.) I don't know yet if there will be another book after that one..

Thanks. I did not realize book 6 had already been released. Book 5 definetely did not feel like an ending to the series and I look forward to reading
