Thank you, I'm so happy you enjoyed it! The Paris Apartment is a little different from my romances for sure - I've always had a WW2 book lurking about in my imagination so I was thrilled when Forever gave me the chance to make it a reality. Going forward, I plan on writing both historical fiction and historical romance. I have both a new historical fiction novel on the go and a synopsis for a new historical romance series that I am itching to write. So stay tuned :)

Thank you for your message and I’m thrilled you liked the story. Apologies for the really delayed response (I’m terrible at keeping up with goodreads). I hope Amazon was able to sort the file issues out - every once in a while, most authors seem to have this happen to them on the Kindle platform. Not sure why. My publisher is pretty good at staying on top of it when it happens.

I didn’t write him as a character in my previous books, but I did use architecture in his story, and my Lady in Red novella’s hero is an artist working in a cathedral. Maybe that is the similarity?

Unfortunately the cost of publishing a novella in paperback is prohibitive to the price point so my novellas are in e-format only. However, you can find Night of the Scoundrel in the back of Elizabeth Hoyt’s latest release as a bonus to her story!

The only virgin heroine I have is in You’re The Earl that I Want. My heroine in Between the Devil & the Duke is inexperienced but not a virgin. Hope this helps!

The last Season for Scandal story will be King's and it will be published late in 2019. His character does, however, show up in A Rogue by Night which comes out in May 2019!

Excellent question! I too, draw the line at sex trade. In Duke of My Heart, the character of King appears to be shocked to discover who Beatrice really is - but given the competency of his far-reaching information webs and his need to control situations, this could have been part of his scheming all along when it came to Ivory and her duke (I'm trying not to give too much away here!). King is not a 'nice' character (cold and mercenary, even) - a product of his past. But is loyal to those he feels he is in debt to or even those whom he feels are allies. The heroine I give him will need to understand that - because she just might be cut from the same cloth.

You and me both! I actually have a book I've written set in New France (Quebec) during the reign of the Sun King (what's not to like about mail-order brides sent to carve out a life in the wilderness?) I haven't been able to find a home for it yet, but I love the setting and time period.
Being a Canadian, I totally couldn't resist the impulse to drag some Canadian history into my Regency novels (and will probably do so again soon...)

Write the story that is yours to tell. try not to worry too much about what fads are cool in the industry and write what you love. My 'first' book was not at all my first book - and I have a stack of rejection letters to prove it. Be prepared to get rejected - and if you can, look for advice in those rejections that you can use to make your writing better. Published authors still get rejected all the time with new ideas. All I can say is just keep writing. Think of 'failure' as just another step toward success!

Thank you - I'm so happy you're enjoying the stories! I do have a new series coming (as yet to be titled) that will start with a novella to be released in November (also doesn't have a title from my publisher quite yet!). The novella will bridge the Season for Scandal series and this new one - the character of King will make an appearance in the novella and then in later books. So while the Season for Scandal series is (sort of?) over, I've left the door open to come back to it! I've had a LOT of requests for King's story and a whole notebook full of ideas for him. So stay tuned...

I'm so glad I was able to give you Elise's story - I hope you enjoyed it! And as you'll see from other posts, I've had more than a few requests for King's story. I'm working on a new series now, but it would seem that King needs to meet his match - and I think she would be quite the heroine indeed... I'll keep you posted! :)
