LOL! That's a great question. The first book, Brilliant Disguise, was inspired by an event involving my sister. My plots come from "what-ifs" in my little world.

It's like being a puppeteer of sorts. I get to control people's actions, words, and thoughts. Plus, I can set my own hours and I have no dress code.

Just write the story. It doesn't have to be perfect. You can always go back to flesh it in and correct any mistakes.

I probably need therapy, but I have these ideas and plots swimming around in my head. I have to write them down to be free from them. Once the first line is written, it continues to grow until it's finished. Does that make sense?

I got the idea for the second book, "A Good Girl", from a news story on the radio about a victim found in a freezer. From there, my imagination ran with it.
