I get up early every morning and write, but a lot of times it's snippets of a conversations or something I saw that gives me an idea and I write it down. Later, I'll take them and see what kind of scene I can create from them and one scene leads to another.

I'm in the revision stages of the second book of the Silver Wind Trilogy and just finished the 1st draft of an young reader chapter book with my kiddos as the inspiration. All the while, I'm in the brain storming stages of the second novella for the Brides of Annie Creek Novella Series.

The best thing about being a writer is that I can use words to create something beautiful, encourage others, or distract them from their troubles for a few hours out of a bad day. I get to meet lots of interesting people and learn things I would have never known before and share it.
