Traci M. Sanders I am the type of writer who never sits down 'to write'. I have to be inspired by something or someone. When I am writing and get to a point of 'writer's block', I will simply put it away until the pieces pop back into my head later. In the meantime, I will try to keep my creativity at the surface by writing something else that I enjoy--such as a poem or a letter to a friend. I feel like if I try to force the story, it won't be my best.
Traci M. Sanders To me, the best thing about being a writer is being able to experience the power of my words. I can make someone laugh, cry, be afraid, smile, and feel connected to something (or someone) through my words.
Traci M. Sanders Keep writing! If you feel something, experience something, or dream something--write it! Only YOU can tell your story. There are billions of people on this planet and somewhere, someone will want to hear what you have to share:)
Traci M. Sanders I am currently working on the third book in my Love Hurts series, titled 'Cowboy Tears'. It begins with a young man named Cole who endures a fatal tragedy involving his wife. He moves back to his hometown in Texas and closes himself off from the world--other than the occasional one night stand to numb the pain. He vows to never love again ... and more importantly, never cry again.

When he meets the beautiful, green-eyed Gemma, she's everything he never thought he could want or need again. Will he finally open his heart to love again? Or will his past keep him from having a future with her?

Traci M. Sanders I have always been an avid reader since a young age, which I feel makes me a better writer. I love to watch shows like Grey's Anatomy, Army Wives, and anything on Lifetime--it gives me a lot of ideas:)
Traci M. Sanders Like many of my other writings, this story simply popped into my head when I was doing something completely non-writing-related one day. In fact, I was probably in the most UN-creative mood possible because I was in bed, too sick to even write that day. But as usual, my brain was still alive and well. Guess I can't complain about that:)

The blurb came to me the same day, but the characters developed over a period of a couple of days, and the story unfolded over the span of a couple of months.
