Since retiring, I've become an observer of people and events, rather than lab results (!), and my inspiration comes from what I see and experience. People are fascinating! With regard to the day to day, I have a set time (morning) when I write and I try to keep my nose to the grindstone - which isn't hard because writing is so much fun!
My fourth book in the Rhe Brewster Mystery Series is finished and in the first through rewrite stage. It's called Death in a Mudflat and was inspired by something I saw at a beach wedding reception on Cape Cod.
