Barbara Taylor Sissel Gaylinn! I am so sorry. I just now found your post here! Thank you so much for sharing about Faultlines I'm so glad you enjoyed it. In fact, I wonder if since you are looking forward to the next book, (THE TRUTH WE BURY is coming out July 25) whether or not you might like to read an ARC (Advance Reader Copy) from Netgalley? Maybe you are familiar with Netgalley and possibly a member? If so I would love to share a link to the book for downloading to your e-reader in exchange for an honest review of it here on GR and on Amazon when the book comes out. I'm pretty sure there will be a discussion of it in The Life of a Book Addict group again, possibly in August.

Let me know if you're up for an early read and able to access a link through Netgalley! Thank you again so much. Your sweet note made my day and again I'm so sorry for the tardy acknowledgement. Teach me to scroll down and check out my Pending Questions!!

Sending joy to you,
Barbara
Barbara Taylor Sissel A story on DATELINE. I am a crime show addict, hooked on the ID channel and all the real-life crime shows.
Barbara Taylor Sissel I do a lot of introspective things ... gardening, stitching, reading ... all of these things help me to become lost and that frees my imagination, my muse, I guess you could say.
Barbara Taylor Sissel I recently handed off a project to my lovely editor, tentatively titled FAULTLINES with a publication date in September, but meanwhile, a character named Lily is talking to me. I'm already absorbed in her story. So far the police are questioning her regarding the whereabouts of her son. I'm not sure where he is myself so her answer should be interesting!
Barbara Taylor Sissel For me, writing has always required a good deal of persistence and discipline and the willing ness to take criticism, kindly intended or snarky, and keep going.
Barbara Taylor Sissel You can work your own hours dressed anyway you like!
Barbara Taylor Sissel Fortunately, I rarely suffer from this. It seems there is always a character walking around in my head with a story to tell.
