Beth Green A thick slimy goo dripped from the edge of the tree branch as Ben moved slowly forward along the trail and a low growl erupted from the brush only a few yards away from where he stood. He dove behind a rock and watched in horror as the creature emerged and began to sniff where he stood only moments ago while Ben sunk lower to the ground wondering if he was next.
Beth Green Thank you for the question! I just completed a few books and I am now back to heavy research and writing phase for some books that I'm working on myself. My true story book about a sports team and another based on a true story book which is in the early phases of research. Those two are taking up a great deal of my time along with my job. I haven't earmarked any other books to read right now.
Beth Green Actually, it already has! We had a terrible tragedy (actually two) in our family. In one instance, a family member was brutally attacked and lived and in the other the family member was brutally murdered. Both were unrelated and a few years apart but BOTH went without anyone paying for the crime. This led to an unbelievable amount of sorrow and frustration and bred the book The Club, in which I postulated a situation where a "club" is formed by "paying it forward" with the murder of a suspect that was never brought to justice. Even though I'm now an author of two other books that are Christian themed, this book was not such a Christian idea; however, it is void of obscene language or graphic sex scenes.

Thank you of the question...by the way I'm working on a real life story that was part of my past...totally different story, though.

Beth Green I would love to read it. I have a stack of work a mile high, if you are willing to be patient!
Beth Green Well...that is a difficult one. I could go back to my high school English days and pull out Romeo and Juliet; but I think that I'll go with Bella and Edward from the Twilight series. I like them because of the deep romantic undertones that stayed clean even though it was a secular book. The series concepts were carried over into the movies as well. I have to say that I fall in love with my own characters too and have had trouble leaving Jonathan and Rosie from my latest series. I left the ending open for a trilogy...I have it mapped out already but have not started the writing.

Beth Green Let me start by saying that I don't know how NOT to be one. I cannot stop my ideas and characters from forming and I cannot wait to get them on paper or in some type of organized form. Being able to create something is my very favorite part of writing. For years, I kept my work hidden and I have just recently released my first official novel. I hope to keep adding to my published work; but even if I do not, I will still be writing.
Beth Green Write as much as you can and every chance that you can. Read and rewrite your work until you love it.
Beth Green I am deep in the world of angels and demons right now! I am writing a Christian fiction that I hope to release soon. It is still in the editing phase...which can take a long time :)
Beth Green I am always writing. Even when it's just in my mind. No matter where I am, I am studying people and their actions. Hang around...you might end up in my next story!
Beth Green The Club was written as a direct result of the breakdown of the justice system when some horrible things that happened to some people that I cared about. I dreamed up the idea as a sort of therapy for myself, even though I don't condone revenge in any form.
