Hi, Just wanted you to know that I enjoyed City of Words so much (I won it in a Goodreads giveaway) that I just bought Mountain of Shadows on Amazon. I haven't read it yet but was curious if there are going to be more, or, if this book series will only have two books?

I'm so glad that you enjoyed City of Words, and yes, this series should have at least one more book. I'm writing it right now, only about 15 pages into it, but it's coming along well.

So, I'm not sure how many books will end up being in this series, but at least one more.

Hi there! I am a 6th grade ELA teacher who is always searching for the next series to snag the kiddos' attentions... Steven J. Carroll Michelle, I'm so glad that you liked the book. Yes, definitely, this is a series. I'm writing book two, right now. And so far, I'm enjoying the story--a lot of questions will be answered, and it's another nail bitter--but I don't have a release date yet. Maybe it'll be out by the end of the year, or the beginning of next year; however long it takes to edit. -Steve

Steven J. Carroll JaNae, City of Words is definitely a series. In fact, I've already begun writing the second book. When you get to the last chapter of City of Words, you probably still have a few questions about the characters, so the next book should bring most of those pieces together.

Thank you for your book "In the Window Room." I enjoyed it very much! Your note to me at the end of the book said that you would send me book 2 in the series, "A Prince of Earth." Would you please send me a copy of this book? I am a middle school/high school librarian and these books will go into our library here at school. Great series which I will introduce to my middle-school niece and those at the Library where I volunteer. I have two more to read and wondered when you final book will be released.
Steven J. Carroll Wendy, great to hear you're liking the series. And to answer your question, the final book is already technically released. I just haven't been publicizing it, yet.
