A very hard question to answer. It's something within me fighting to get out. My mind is scheming all the time, ideas continue to flow - the imagination is unstoppable. So I guess I don't get inspired, I just am inspired... like being on a continuous high. Sorry I can't be more specific, more helpful than that.

Getting lost in your own world... it's so exciting, so stimulating, so absorbing. You have to love it... drink in every precious moment... then the reward of seeing your own book in print... the cover... and holding that book for the first time is indescribable

Read a lot, travel a lot (if you can), become observant (pretend you are an undercover detective or international spy and you know that you will have to report back every detail, every scent, every sound and especially the weather) and then if you're meant to write your imagination will do the rest...
