While we crossed Macquarie Street in Sydney, my daughter mentioned that the quaint building we were approaching was where she attended singing lessons. She then went on to describe the apartment which doubled as a studio. My imagination bubbled!

The Missing Diamond Earring. One evening while attending a performance at the Sydney Opera House, I lost my diamond earring. Happily it was found by a good Samaritan and turned in. Relieved, I put it into my handbag for safekeeping and returned to my hotel only to find out later that it wasn't there!
