"Writer's block" to me means that I don't know the specifics of my scene/ story/ character. I have found that the more specific I get, the more I have to talk about. For example, it is much more difficult to explain the body as a whole than it is to focus on, say, the eyes. You could find better wording and more interesting facts about the science and biology of the eyes than you could about the body as a general idea. Convert that theory into the terms of a story and you might have something like: describe one naval altercation rather than an entire voyage.

Book two of the Destiny Scrolls series is well under way at the moment. There will be new main characters and tons of new development for the world the series is set it, Estyn. I am improving my craft with every book, so be assured that book two will raise the plot to new heights.
I am also co-writing a superhero series with a good friend. It will be set in San Francisco and will focus on the emergence of powers for the first time in the populace. Though the plot and characters will be a serious construction, the series was originally meant as a humor set: powers with downsides. I won't say any more on this just yet, but the initial plans have me very excited to get writing.
