I realise you asked this question a while ago but I guess like always it will be mix of some NYT bestsellers, some classics, some revisiting of old favorites like PG Wodehouse and Shivani and some non-fiction, self-improvement type books (I am pretty big on that).

I write anyway and make a note to myself that the words written in that period will all need to go. Very difficult to murder one's darlings but I am not a trained writer and this is what I have learnt through trial and error.

I have always had a very working-class approach to writing. Turning up at the desk every day is the only way I know to get things done. Discipline over motivation and so on!
